• Conceptualization, design, and specification of the E/E/PE safety system
• Collaboration with other areas of the team within a SysML model, analysis of existing solutions, and definition of new ones
• Execution of impact analyses, DFMEA, calculation of safety metrics, and review of the HW architecture for compliance with the Safety Integrity Level (SIL) requirements
• Interface formation with other teams within the project
• Support during the commissioning of the MULTI safety system in the Rottweil test tower
• Coordination with safety requirements engineer
• Coordination with external partners and suppliers
• Assistance with the certification of the MULTI safety system

• Degree in Engineering e.g. mechatronics; electrical/electrics, ;mechanics or comparable
• At least 3 years of complex project working experience in automation technology
• Certified Functional Safety Engineer (FSE) desirable
• Project management training accomplished.
• Self-driven, conscientious and very structured mode of work
• High ability to cope with pressure·Excellent team skills·Guided by processes
• German >= A2
• English >= B2
